Never Stop Learning
I have created this blog primarily for a class I'm taking at the University of West Georgia called "Integrating Technology Into the Curriculum", however I should have more experience in blogging than I already do, so this is a much needed technology experience for me. One of the reasons I haven't explored blogging very much is because the school where I work is a Title I school whose students have very limited technology access and use. Many of them don't have computers at home, so neither they nor their parents access our school Web site and any of the teacher's blogs. Consequently, using technology in our school's curriculum is on the one hand more necessary than it is at other schools, and on the other hand, very challenging due to the students' lack of familiarity with technology. I've recently been tasked with redoing our school Web site, so I hope that familiarity with blogging will allow me to go a bit further with the site than I would have normally gone.
